Hi, I'm Jay! I am an aspiring art educator who loves creativity! I believe that the utilization of artistic disciplines to express emotions, convey our ideas, and deepen understanding and relationships to ourselves and the world around us is fundamental.

I have lived in Delaware County my whole life!

Graduating from Penncrest High School in 2019,  I currently commute and attend Tyler School of Art at Temple University .

I got my formal start with the arts in High School  Freshman year ceramics class. Though I didn't like it that much at the time, I continued on to taking Art Major 1 my junior year and have never hesitated to embrace my connection to creativity since.

I have been creative my entire life and loved fathoming intricate imaginative realities, though I always struggled growing up with the tools and the resources to not only create, but to handle my frustrations and emotions while creating. Growing up in a turbulent household,  struggling with my life and idenity as a queer and mixed person on the autism spectrum with mental health disabilities, defined me and my life. As an adult I work to honor my "inner child" while turning my past, trauma, experiences, and identity into vast opportunity and creativity.

At the core, I truly value building a deeper connection with myself, others, and the world around me- and this theme is prevalent across my multitudes of creative studies, experimentations, and work.

I have done professional photography and custom art services since 2019 or my senior year of High school, worked on marketing and minor graphic design for various businesses. I specialize in outdoors portrait photography and have done near every avenue of photography (except formal weddings!)

I have worked on countless pieces of music as well as worked with musicians on countless projects. Working with musicians is one of my favorite things as a photographer and I have done work from creative direction and helping with aesthetics, to branding and cover art for other musicians.

As a visual artist I always explore the line between the absolute unknown and the safety of what I know. I always am experimenting and find peace in very traditional fine art while also valuing extremely abstract and surreal concepts.

My overall commission work primarily consists of photography, custom art, my own art, or portraiture to creative direction, graphic design, and minor music production services

I would love to connect to work with you on your next creative endeavor!
